Buried online and not posted on Baltimore Sun is the following article by the same reporter who gets Pre-Submission Meetings posted in the Baltimore Sun easily. When a developer loses, however, the article gets buried...
We are glad we were there to report the truth as many local farmers and businesses were told that Orndorff withdrew his offer to buy the Stedding farm due to other reasons. This is NOT true. She refused to sell to Orndorff. It was indeed a glorious moment for one farm saved from INDUSTRY!

Some of you may have heard that JBRK, LLC has proposed two locations for his mulch facilities, one in Sykesville and the other here in Dayton. Sykesville held their community meeting tonight, and the Sykesville farm's owner, Shiree Stedding, announced to a large crowd that she had decided to sell the farm to a true farmer and not JBRK, LLC.! It was a very dramatic and emotional scene for everyone in attendance. We expect that the new owner will not allow for industrial uses such as those proposed by JBRK, LLC, but the zoning laws still allow this and the battle is not over for those of us in Howard County. Sykesville is now supporting our efforts in continuing to oppose large industrial uses of farms in Agricultural Preserve.

Howard County Times covered the story:
"Sang Oh, the attorney representing RLO Contractors, the business behind the composting proposal, said he was surprised by Fox's announcement. He said he would have to see the proposed ZRA before determining next steps. Until then, he said, RLO is unlikely to submit any further plans to the county. 'I think the prudent thing to do right now is to wait and see', Oh said."
